Freelance journalist and activist Gloria Williams is convinced that using alternative media and the Internet are the best ways to meet the challenges we face in these days of economic decline and propaganda/infotainment newscasts.
A recent graduate of the University of Iowa in Iowa City, she now lives in Albuquerque and writes for Mas New Mexico, a bilingual weekly newspaper. She also works as publication assistant for John Crawford at West End Press and helped organize the third Albuquerque Cultural Conference that was held over Labor Day weekend, September 3-6, 2010.
